It's a paperback, took awhile to get here, has some good ideas about positive thinking. Alot like the Theory of Attraction where you get back in life what your mind puts out. Seems logical and valid.
Insightful readingReviewed by E. Sjölin, 2009-09-10
I just finished reading this book and I am truly thrilled about the possibilities and the new angle to life it offers. This is a book I highly recommend anyone to read. I was amazed by the simplicity that the author explains complex and life altering matters of how the mind works and how we all can use it to unlock our potential. This is a book that I will reread on several occations.
Clear and Very HelpfulReviewed by Daniel Osarchuk, 2009-06-22
With so many books to choose from on the topic of the power of
positive thought, it can be challenging to decide which one to
pick. You need a book that is clear and concise, one that makes
sense, and one that has helpful advice to help you achieve your
goals. Mind Power Into the 21st Century is such a book.
Kehoe's work is full of excellent observations, very helpful
advice, and quotes from others throughout history who have put
their own positive thoughts to good use. He delves into the very
useful techniques of visualization, seeding, affirmations,
acknowledging, working with the subconscious mind, and more. Kehoe
also has specific chapters dedicated to achieving your goals on the
subjects of relationships, health, and money.
It's amazing that such a wealth of knowledge can not only be picked
up for less than the price of taking a date out to the movies, but
it can also be read through and easily understood in a few days
time.
Rich mine of information & ideas for practical use.Reviewed by Layne Hood, 2009-04-25
Kehoe well deserves his expert status & the title "teacher". I find his work infinitely rewarding while it is also very easy to read & adopt. I recommend this book to anyone wanting personal growth & the experience of a more abundant life.
Empower yourself with Mind PowerReviewed by Zora Divine, 2008-12-05
I had the opportunity to hear John Kehoe speak two months ago, and
bought his book for two reasons. One, I wanted to read more about
his ideas, and second, the book was only ten bucks, and way cheaper
than any other product offered at the seminar. It is quite possibly
the best money I have ever spent on a book.
Having read a lot of books on the Law of Attraction, the
subconscious, the body's ability to heal itself and how each of us
creates our own life - all of it, I was amazed that this book
covers these topics and more in a very concise and readable format.
It is a very easy read, yet is a book of profound depth and
wisdom.
If there is anything you would like to change about your life, if
you have problems of any kind (financial, health, relationship,
etc.) that you would like to overcome, or if you just want your
life to get even better than it already is, this book has the power
to put you on the fast track. The chapters are short but thorough.
Each chapter makes suggestions, offers tips and exercises without
ever being overwhelming. The cool part is that this is a right
brain book.. it activates our innate creativity.
For example, I used to say that I don't dream a lot and that I
can't remember what I dream. This has been a source of minor envy
for years as I listen to others tell the stories of their vivid
dreams. Well, I just joined the club. I now dream every night and
remember what I dream, just because I followed the simple advice in
Kehoe's chapter on dreaming.
Mind Power is a small and very powerful book to give to yourself.
The book also makes a great gift for the people you care about
most.
